Run

Run your technology

The things that have to keep working: the website, the hosting and email behind it, your staff's day-to-day IT, and the backups you'd need after a storm. Run by the people who set them up, and documented so you can find anything without us.

Websites & web applications

New builds, rescues of sites nobody has touched in three years, and the applications behind them. Delivered as a running system on real hosting, with the certificate, the DNS and the mail path included, not as a folder of files handed over.

Typical work: A full build; a rebuild of a site that has outgrown its shape; taking over a site nobody owns.

Hosting, domains & email

This already runs daily across a portfolio of live sites: certificate renewals watched, mail authenticated so inbox providers can trust it, DNS somebody actually understands, and backups tested by restoring them.

Typical work: Moving a site and its mail without losing a message; fixing mail that lands in spam; one place for every domain you own.

IT & technology management

Support for you and your staff, vendor wrangling, accounts, devices and access. This is a hurricane coast, so recovery is not an abstraction here: a backup that has never been restored is not a backup, and testing that is part of the job rather than an upsell.

Typical work: Standing support; taking over an estate nobody owns; recovery you'd bet the business on.

Architecture & technical leadership

Fractional CTO and IT-director work for businesses that don't need one full time but are too complex to guess. Often the most valuable thing in the first month is that something gets cancelled.

Typical work: A second opinion before a big purchase; a two-year plan; owning the technical decisions outright.

Ongoing plans

  • Watch. For systems that mostly work and need to keep working: monitoring, verified backups, patching, domain and email health, and a monthly note in plain English.
  • Run. For businesses with no internal IT. Everything in Watch, plus day-to-day support, vendor management, and a budgeted block of change work each month.
  • Build. For businesses changing how they operate. Everything in Run, plus ongoing development and technical leadership that also does the building.

There's no price on this page because every set of systems is different. After a first conversation, we can put a recommended plan and an estimate in writing.

Response times, minimum term, notice period and after-hours cover are set in each client's agreement, not on a web page. After-hours cover is available by arrangement. New build work is scheduled when it's scoped.
